Mason’s Catering

I love the little tidbits that people are emailing me. I apologize if I don’t post something for you, I am trying to have a method behind the madness. This email hit my inbox earlier, and I noticed it was about one of my many facebook friends. Many of you are probably familiar with Travis Jewelers, one of Florence’s finest jewelry stores. Mrs. Travis’ brother, Joshua Mason, has returned to Florence and he has big plans. He has just opened up Mason’s Catering. He ultimately wants to open a gourmet cafe and wine store (Be still my heart!).
To quote the email I received (because it is better worded than I could do):

“Joshua’s desires of having his own shop stem from working/managing The Gourmet Shop in Columbia, SC for the past eight years as their head sommelier. Joshua’s reputation and knowledge of wines is known in Napa Valley, as well as quite a few provinces in Spain, France, Italy and Australia. In addition to his wine expertise, over the last two months, Josh has been perfecting yummy food recipes and finalizing his menu…and its GREAT!! Joshua is still in the baby steps of getting his store up and running, but in the meantime, to acquaint Florence with his passion for the finer things, he has begun catering! …
Right now his target area is the lunch hour…trays or lunch boxes for business meetings, conferences, luncheons, and weekly civic club meetings, to name a few, but can also include evenings of special social events or fund raisers.”

Please, please, PLEASE Florence! Call Joshua and help him get started. I need to have this gourmet cafe and wine store in my life!
