I am a sucker for foreign food. I just can’t help it! I went to Sakura one night last week and let me just tell ya’ll, it ROCKS. Everytime I go, the place is packed & the service is still great. Everything is reasonably priced and the food is yummy! Flossette reccomends the Crab Roll and the Spider Roll..and for you non-sushi lovers, try to Shrimp and Rice plate!

What are some of your favorite places to eat in Florence?

Remember to tell them you read about it on theflossip.com!! Thanks for reading!

I totally agree but I hate for too many people to find out about it.

Old Europe – especially on Thursday nights – they have live belly dancing! It’s always such a cozy atmosphere there. My husband and I love it!

I actually had Sakura for lunch today… hibachi beef. I did take out, which doesn’t have the soup that I love too. It hit the spot!

There’s a new Thai restaurant on Dargan Street in the old Cornerstone restaurant building (168 Dargan). The name is Thai House 2 ( ..it is run by folks who ownThai House in Sumter). Their phone: 662-5440) I picked up take out last night (pad woonsen, spring rolls, red curry) and it was fantastic. The best Thai food I’ve had since I left Fla. and moved to Flo a few years back . . .a broad menu and it really tasted authentic . . .something not really true of the other Thai places in town.
