The venue formerly known as Carolina Amphitheater and now named the Marion Entertainment Center rises from the ashes.
I JUST received this email:
Hey all – after a week of mostly rain, come out on Saturday and enjoy some great weather while supporting the shelter animals of Marion County! A HUGE concert benefit is planned at the amphitheater – there will be great food, drink and bands such as Gabbie Rae (as Hanna Montana), the Sick Stooges, Sequoya Prep School and Southern Blue (the same band that played at our October benefit). Tickets are only $10 and kids 9 and under are free!
Please come out and support the shelter animals – funds are continually needed for vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, vet bills, etc. and we will soon need to purchase lots of industrial fans to keep the animals cool this summer.
