This is a kayak and canoe benefit for Adriane Poston. Adriane has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time in seven years. Adriane and her husband Charlie have a seven-year-old son, Landen. They all enjoy kayaking and this will be a great way to bring people together to lift her up.
Naturally Outdoors is sponsoring the trip which will take place on June 20th. We will meet at their store at 8:00 am and caravan to Red’s Landing off Hwy 41 at Black River. We will paddle about 4 hours to Pine Tree Landing.
The entry fee is $20 per person + $10 for lunch at Pine Tree Landing. All money raised will be given to Adriane. If you have kayak or canoe equipment, bring it. If you don’t have gear, Naturally Outdoors will provide loaner boats. These boats are limited, so call ahead to reserve one.
