Local Handmade

A friend of mine gave me a beautiful necklace for my birthday. Whenever I get something unique, I like to find out where it came from so that I can remember it when I buy gifts (and not to check the price, shh.). She told me that this particular necklace came from her favorite seller on Etsy. I was searching through Etsy and realized that you can shop local on Etsy, by searching by location. Florence actually has FOUR local Etsy shops.

Klwbeth’s Etsy Shop: Kwlbeth has some great jewelry and handbags. I love these earrings.
Hall’s Closet: LOVE these inexpensive handpainted items. Some great teacher gifts, friend gifts, kid gifts… (think Anything Joes at Myrtle Beach). I had a hard time picking out a favorite, but I love this necklace (for myself) and this monogrammed candle.
Designs by Jenni: Beaded jewelry and necklaces. She has a good bit for the skull and crossbone set, but a daintier look as well.
Lowcountry dreaming: Interesting vintage wristbands. Why doesn’t Florence have a 1920′s bash?
Three Guys and a Chick: I love this site! CUTE, CUTE baby bibs. I mean cute in a hip way, not in a pink bunny way. (I do like pink bunnies, I promise.) I also like this bib and burpcloth set. Very posh tot. Didn’t you know that spit up is better on a nice looking burp cloth? UPDATED: A DEAL!! “If anyone buys a bib from Three Guys and a Chick by Sunday June 7th and puts “I saw it on the Flossip” in the notes to seller I will do free shipping!!” (from the owner, isn’t that great!?)
Nella Design’s: Elizabeth has a great line of paper items. I really love this invitation and these business cards.
