Why is it that Shooky’s Deli is the only local restaurant on restaurant.com? Seems like all local restaurants should be taking advantage of this site. I have used it with success before. Plus, they have really good deals right now:

That little italian restaurant on Irby in the Food Lion parking lot behind the Dollar General just past Walmart used to be on there with 80% off deals on gift certificates. This is a great site if you go to the beach or any other larger city, but does not have much to offer in Florence. I agree, Florence restaurants need to step up and do more web advertising like this. There are some local reviews on yelp.com for Florence if that helps.
I totally agree. I miss Stefano’s being on there, you could get a good deal on a meal at Stefano’s with one of those certificates. I like Shooky’s too but it’s kinda out of the way for me.

I actually still have a gift certificate for Stefano’s from this site! We bought it back at the beginning of the year, right before they stopped selling them, and we still haven’t used it yet. We’ll probably use it for our anniversary dinner next week. We got one before that, and it was an awesome deal.
I wonder how a restaurant gets on the site? Maybe we should ask some restaurants to join, they might do it.
