Before I had children, I loved to hit garage sales. Once there was a garage sale in my neighborhood that had about 1000 yard tools. I honestly never understood WHERE they got all of these yard tools. I bought a blower for five bucks, and it still works… five years later. I got a chest for $10.00 and some other assorted items. I have not been in a while, though it truly is the best way to get kids items. We all know they play with that plastic crap about 5 times and forget about it. Buying it at a garage sale makes both economic and environmental sense.

I’m having a big moving sale as well, 3101 Greystone Dr. off of ebenezer & pisgah rd next to the old Coca Cola Factory!(Summergate subdivision)

Garage/yard sales are *great*. For one thing, you get to meet other people who live in Florence, or sometimes, you go to a yard sale and find out you’re connected to the family at the sale. I was at a yard sale once, struck up a convo with the seller, and found out that we worked together- if I hadn’t gone to his yard sale, I might have never really met him. It’s also a great way to see other neighborhoods and stuff

I looooovvvee yard sales!!!! But watch out for the 50 cent lady!! No matter what it is, she wants it for 50 cents and then will try and bad mouth you if you don’t want to sell her a crib for it!! haha She has come to everyone I have ever had at my house
The best is at the end of the yard sale. They’re trying to get rid of the stuff, so they just let you fill a bag for like a dollar
