Do you prefer a full feed?

This may make NO sense to many of you, but this blog has an RSS feed. That means if you have Google Reader or a similar program you can get up to the minute updates when a blog has a new post. (Read this article for more information.) It is the way that I read most of my news and favorite blogs with the click of a mouse. Some blogs have a full feed and some have a partial feed. Recently two people have told me that they prefer a full feed. (I only publish a partial feed).

Let me know which you prefer. If you have not subscribed yet, you should!

the only problem with full rss feeds is that you don’t get as many website visits. You don’t get the full experience of coming to the actual website and your page views decrease.

Definately a full feed. I read all of my blogs through their feeds on GReader and mostly from my phone ( never seem to be at a computer anymore!). So, having to click through to a full website can get tedious.

I actually don’t mind either way – I use Google Reader to organize my feeds, but I tend to “Middle-Click” articles I wanna read to open them in a new tab (on their own site) and then keep scanning through feeds, so once I’m done I have a browser full of tabs just waiting to be read.

I, too, prefer full feeds but I am also guilty of subscribing, reading in my reader, and not visiting the actual sites.
