I don't understand why everyone's having a fit. The building looked old and rundown for years, I think it's good that they're sprucing up the looks to match the quality of service. When he sold it to VCA he had to sighn an agreement that he would not practice in Florence for a specified amount of time. He has since set up shop in Kingstree but the aloted time has nearly passed and I've heard that he will return to Florence.
