I learned of the community pool of supplies on accident really when 2 years ago I walked into my sons class and in the corner of the room saw a tower of kleenex and hand sanitizers all with names on them, when I asked the teacher laughed said like my storage closet. I didn't laugh, spent good money on specific things, hate those cheap crayons, so I bought the good ones, not anymore! Don't bother buying anything nice- just get the cheapest stuff possible. Eight glue Sticks, 4 boxes of Kleenex, 2 boxes of baby wipes, 5 10oz or bigger hand sanitizer. That is a bit much for one child to use in a year.
