The US Postal Service might be closing our downtown branch at the federal building and asked me to check into. Indeed the US Postal Service is holding a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, August 26th, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Bruce and Lee Library. They have also listed a contact person: Renee Graham, 679-2465
Sounds like there are some readers that may want to attend the meeting!

That would be awful. Not only would it be a pain to have to go all the way to another one, changing P.O. box addresses is a major pain and expense.
I did not like it when they quit using the drive through window at the Evens street branch. Stamps and services keep going up but now they need to cut back?
Should we look at the top of their food chain to see what could be cut?
I miss that drive through also!
