Last night I noticed that Porter’s Gift Shop was trying to reach a goal of 1000 friends on facebook. Never one to turn down a challenge, I immediately began a campaign to get more friends to their facebook page. This morning I had the following message on my wall from Porter’s Gift Shop:
We are going to hang your “little” surprise on our BACK door in a Porter’s bag. There are no windows in the door or anywhere around to protect your identity… Drive behind the Palmetto Plaza into the fenced in area. Our door is on the part that juts out. The other stores’ doors are all on the back wall. There will be a white jeep commander parked by the door too. Don’t worry… no cameras or detectives!!!! Last night was exciting!!!
Thanks!!!!
Hmmm… A PRESENT!! For me? I can’t resist a present. Would I get caught? I trust those fabulous gals at Porters, but was it a trap?
Surely not. I decided to be safe. I have a loyal flossip friend that often assists in my capers. She drove and I rode look out in the backseat (With my hat and glasses on JUST IN CASE!) We wondered all the way there… would there really be a gift?
I am happy to report, there was!
Yeah! Three fabulous candles (I bribed my driver with the third one). THANKS PORTERS!!
(The blue Tiffany box may be a standard of distinction in some circles, but around here we have the blue Porter’s bag!)
