DISNEY ON ICE PRESENTS DISNEY/PIXAR’S FINDING NEMO IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT, SAFE KIDS FLORENCE, FLORENCE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE FLORENCE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM HOSTS THE “FINGERPRINTS HELP FIND KIDS FASTER” EVENT ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 AT THE CIVIC CENTER
Disney on Ice presents Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo will show at the Florence Civic Center on October 17-18.D
In conjunction with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Florence Police Department, Safe Kids Florence and the Florence County Public Library, Disney on Ice will host the -Fingerprints Help Find Kids Faster- event.
In the spirit of “Finding Nemo” where Nemo is lost and his father, Marlin, must search far and wide to find him, he wants to help arm parents with vital identification information about their children. The first 100 children to arrive will receive a complimentary DNA kit, including a photograph, fingerprints, hair sample, saliva sample, blood sample and dental card*. The first 20 families to arrive will receive a Family 4-Pack of tickets to Disney on Ice presents Disney/Pixar Finding Nemo. Additionally, all participants may register to win a Family 4-Pack.
Other activities: Finding Nemo trivia, a kid-friendly safety presentation, story time, face painting, balloon sculpting and appearances by Disney on Ice skaters and surprise guests.
*Families need to bring a clean brush or comb only used by each child receiving a DNA kit. Instructions and supplies will be given to process saliva and blood samples at home.
