I have never actually “shopped” for a new house in Florence. If I did, I think that the Burt Jordan website would be my go-to source. Someone sent me that link a few years ago, and it really does have the best search function. You can even drill down to the neighborhood you prefer. I use it to check my own neighborhood, see what is available, how much houses are selling for, etc.
I was looking through tonight and found some houses that I would love to buy when I win the lottery. Its a good thing that has not happened yet, because I would have a tough decision to make.
I have always thought this house was interesting.
This is an interesting listing… I can’t quite tell what it is. A compound? A multi-family farm?

As someone who has spent considerable time searching the Florence housing market, I would honestly NOT recommend Burt Jordan realty for your home buying needs. Use their website to look at houses if you need to, but after over a dozen online enquiries into properties that went unanswered I gave up trying to contact them there. When I phoned them, the realtor I spoke to spent several minutes telling me that my price range was way way below their notice and to call back when my finances were in order. If you are looking to buy in a range over 120k then by all means, call them, I’m sure they’ll be very polite but from experience I recommend David Grantham or Cameron Minishew here in Florence. They never once turned up their nose at any property I requested information for, nor made snooty comments about my price range. In fact, they have both went out of their way to find the answer to any question I had to ask and David is currently our realtor as we work to buy our first home.
I would NOT use David because of his nasty attitude!!!!!! Just bad.
