Description: Participants may choose one or more classes. Each class is $15 each and includes materials. All proceeds will go to the Florence Area Humane Society. The artwork the student creates can be taken home the same day. All classes will be taught by certified art teachers.
Kitty Collages
Participants will use a torn/cut paper technique to create a picture of a cat. This class is better suited to younger students.
Paint a Pet
Participants will create a painting of a dog or cat featuring models from the animal shelter.
Critter Creations
Participants will create a small air dry clay sculpture of a cat or dog.
Pastel Pets
Participants will create a pastel drawing of a cat or dog. This class is better suited to older students.
Participants must register by Saturday, January 16th. Registration forms must be accompanied by a check made out to “Florence Area Humane Society.” Please mail registration forms and checks to: Florence Area Humane Society, PO Box 4808, Florence, SC 29502.
Classes begin at 8:30 am. Each class is an hour long with 10 minutes between the classes. Please choose classes carefully so that the times do not overlap. Classes are limited in size to 20 participants and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
