I just want to compliment you on what a wonderful thing you are doing for Florence. I grew up there and have since moved away after going to Furman and getting a job in Greenville. My job in Greenville is with a nonprofit and we are constantly working to promote our city/county and make it better through the implementation of a long range vision. Anyway, the big complaint I always here in Greenville, at least, is that there is a lot going on, but no one knows about it. I know that Florence has encountered similar challenges and it is so impressive that you, just one person, are working daily to combat that. My parents and brother are still in Florence and I tell them all the time to read your blog to find out what is going on. It is truly amazing and I am thankful that you are looking after my hometown!
