I love to look through the real estate listings and choose new house. It kind of drives Mr. Flossip NUTS. I can’t help it, it is in my blood. My mother used to flip houses before it was cool. I am going to start picking a dream house every week and that gives me justification for constantly searching. Mind you– in real life price would be a concern. In this exercise? Price is NOT a concern.
Current favorite is listed here.

Bonuses: It is in Forest Hills. I like older neighborhoods, and this house looks like it doesn’t need a lot of work. It also has 3 full bathrooms and a half bath. I like bathrooms. I think everyone deserves their own. Look at the windows over the doors in the den. LOVE them. LOVE.
(Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with this house or the listing Realtor or Burt Jordan. I use Burt Jordan because you can search by neighborhood and at this point in my life I know which neighborhoods I want to live in.)
(Also, I need to be a stager. You need to change the lamps in the kitchen and those black chairs. Take a picture on a sunny day, not a dreary one. The dining room picture needs help as well.)

I am also a house junkie and am always looking! This is one of the houses that caught our eye first before the move (though it was more than we could spend!). I love the back yard as well. Hopefully, when we get finished with our little (or big, depending on my mood) project you will love it too! LOL
I LOVE this house too!! I grew up in Forest Hills I have fond memories of playing w/the girls of this house and babysitting the two younger ones !! A Beautiful home inside and out!!!!
The kitchen needs an update.
I bet when Mrs. Flossip isn’t Flossiping she is watching HGTV! LOL Me too.
Oh, so nice to know someone else does the same thing. I have taken down a forest with real estate magazines! My husband always thinks I am serious and starts packing…silly man. I also re-stage and re-figure for curb appeal! Now you’ve got me started!
I looked at this house ove a year ago…it needs work…the back part of kitchen smells like mildew or mold and it is a big area…don’t think their was garage…the kitchen is old too and need some attention and the sink needs to be replaced…it is a great neighborhood.
Whoops…looks like they may have redone the kitchen and there are garages.
I can’t believe no one has commented on the backyard! I love a good backyard and that one is awesome.
This is an excellent Dream House of the Week!
This really is a terrific family home……SUPER for entertaining, and in an excellent neighborhood, with tons of friendly neighbors! Needs some remodeling, but don’t we all!
If you’re in the house-hunting market, and if you’re in this price range, you should definitely take a long look at this home……it may be just the one for you! I’m a frequent visitor there myself, so have first-hand knowledge of it too.
