So, technically my favorite new place is called “Ulta”, but it is ulta-mate love for me. I will be honest, I did not used to care about things such as makeup and moisturizer and SPF in everything. Then… I had a couple of kids and turned 30. Now I spend a good deal of time trying to keep my skin youthful. I am a huge fan of Sephora and almost always stop in when I see one. I wasn’t sure that Ulta would be as good… but I was wrong! They have all of my favorite brands.
I walked in and immediately felt a sense of calm come over me. All of my favorite things in one place.
Philosophy is truly my favorite brand. I love everything they make.
Shh. Don’t tell anyone, but this is the moisturizer I use. I don’t even have to use foundation when I use this. I am in LOVE with it. It is pricey, but well worth it. (Its a BB cream. I also tried the smashbox, but I like this one better.)
They have candles and what not as well. Strong smells give me migraines, but people like these.
I also bought some Bare Minerals. They had a 20.00 trial pack and I have really been wanting to try it out. So far, the powder concealer is my favorite.
All in all, I loved Ulta. I left with my pocketbook and the weight on my shoulders a little lighter. I would say that means the trip was a win!
