and school mornings are about to begin! We have been getting up earlier in the Flossip house this week, trying to make next week a tiny bit easier. Unfortunately, it is still not good enough and we will all be feeling the pain of a 6 am wake up next week.
It has been a good summer. As long time readers know, this site takes a little bit of a breather in the summertime. People are on vacation, the to-do’s seem to be more infrequent, and basically… I get a little lazy.
September is on the horizon though, and I will be kicking it back into high gear! I am THRILLED to report that longtime sponsor Palmetto First Federal Credit Union will continue to sponsor, and the FMU Performing Arts Center is coming back for their season as well. I could not ask for better people to work with!
I have already finished back to school shopping (crazy, isn’t it!?). I don’t know if Tomlinson’s is on your must-shop list, but they are certainly on mine! Flossip boy has plenty of new Guy Harvey shirts to start school with. Why are boys so much easier to dress? I could put him in khaki shorts and a Guy Harvey shirt every day of the week. Flossip girl? Not so much.
I have also checked out the new stores– Pieces and The Pink Hanger. Both get a thumbs up in my book and I will post in a little more detail later. Fortunately, Krispy Kreme has reopened so I can keep functioning on my required daily allotment of coffee.
I have also had some fun day trips. Y’all seemed to like my post on my day trip to Conway, so look for more of those posts in the fall! I am so ready for cool nights, blue jeans, and being able to run outside without having heat stroke.
