What are YOU doing this weekend?
I am planning to get started on my Christmas shopping at the Junior League Merry Marketplace at the Florence Civic Center this weekend. I usually am able to score some creative Christmas presents there, and its about the time I usually begin stockpiling gifts.
Sunday I will be returning to Victors Bistro for lunch. I went last Sunday and it was honestly one of the best brunches I have ever had– and I am a brunch fan! I’ve always said that Florence NEEDS a brunch place– we definitely have one.
The River Jamboree is also on Saturday, I posted about that earlier and it looks like a lot of fun!
Oh wow! It is also the Fall Plant and Flower festival at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market.
Sunday night will be auditions for Nunsense at the Florence Little Theatre. The Florence Little Theatre will hold auditions for Nunsense on October 7 and 10 at 7:30pm. All auditions will be held at the Florence Little Theatre and are for women ages 18 and older. Prior experience is not required and all audition materials will be provided. For more information, please call 843.662.3731.
Also– don’t forget the FAIR IS HERE! Long time readers may know that I LOVE THE FAIR. Truly, I love the Fair. Yes, the Florence, SC Fair. I love it more than the State Fair. (see? You can read this post in 2010 about my love for the fair!)
What are YOU doing this weekend!?

Thanks for the tidbit about the brunch place!!! I am excited to try it. Also, hate I missed you at Merry Marketplace. I was working with the JL all weekend…maybe we can finally cross paths soon!
Happy Tuesday!
Brunch is HUGE here in Charleston! People here are so into it, and restaurants too, they have special menus, drink specials, special hours, it’s big time. Everyone was surprised when I was like “Brunch? Um, okay”. I would definitely hit up Victor’s for it in Florence
.
I will be spending tomorrow morning coaching a cross country meet in Summerville, followed by some tasty food at Sesame Burgers and watching lots of college football. Go Gamecocks!
Well we are going to MB to the Boathouse to cheer USC to victory over GA! We will be staying there and they Sunday morning we were going to go to the Sea Captains Table for brunch. We love brunches also
Hopefully will get back to Florence to swing by the Fall Plant and Flower Sale at the Farmers Market. Gezz..w/e’s are too short, need another day at least to get everything in that we want to do..hehe.
