As 2012 comes to a close, I am taking stock of the website and all that is on here. If you wouldn’t mind snooping around and checking out the different links– the Florence links page, the information about Rumors, Openings, and Closings in Florence, SC… and just click through to various parts of the site and then comment and give some feedback.
It is a part time gig for me so I can’t get it all done, but I will consider any and all advice! Thanks for reading!

I love the website and I have to disagree with Emily. I think the dialogue between people is part of what keeps it going. There’s really not that many people that seem to post anymore and if we can’t ‘talk’ to one another, then I think it takes alot away from the site. Unless you could somehow allow for 2 different sections where people could talk on one but only list openings and closings on another. I’ve often thought it would be nice to have a site where people could report things that others would like to know; like the good and the bad. But I imagine that wouldn’t be legal and could get out of hand. But I do think it’s a nice aspect that someone can ask for input on a potential business like Tim did awhile back. Just mho.
I use your site all the time to see what’s going on in town…love that part! also the questions about town or just different things and the comments that are offered. I also really like the Rumors, openings and closing and if I’m the calprit your talking about Emily..I apologize! I do like posting or commenting on there so I will try to limit my responses to just rumors or such.
Ms. Flossip your doing a great job and I can’t think of anything I, personally, would ask to be changed.

I love everything about your site, especially the rumors, openings and closings. I have noticed however there seems to be conversations going on there instead of just comments. Any way to ask people just to leave actual comments on rumors and possible new openings? It’s enjoy checking it every few weeks, but it’s discouraging to wade through the same few people just talking back and forth.

I went here yesterday looking to search your site for good reception venues, and I could not find a search box. Is it possible for you to have one so that we can search all your archives for a specific topic? Or do you have that already, and I’m missing it? If you have it, maybe you could display it more prominently on the home page.
