I am SO excited! Carolinas Hospital has given me the opportunity to hear Elizabeth Smart speak on February 6. I have seen this on billboards and was intrigued, so I am thrilled to be able to go.
Carolinas is launching a Healthy Woman program. This program is designed for women age 25-54 (ME!). Our mission is to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health care and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones. We reach out to women in the community by periodically hosting events designed to help educate women on the need for a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Our Healthy Woman Kick-Off event is Tuesday, February 5th at the SiMT facility starting at 6:00 PM. Elizabeth Smart was 14 when she was kidnapped from her home in Utah in 2002 will be the keynote speaker. The attached ad details the event on February 5th. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. Elizabeth is an accomplished speaker who does an incredible job sharing her amazing story and her desire to overcome adversity.

Hmm..guess women over 54 (ME) don’t need to be empowered..hehe.
