@Fran I do believe Cactus Jack’s is open. I drive by it every day and there are plenty of cars there.

I found out more information about Ozzie’s Alamangia located at 1803 Palmetto Street near five points right beside Title Max. It’s a dinnette,bakery, and catering restaurant. I believe it’s owned by the same person that owns Stefano’s Italian Restaurant. I ate there last night, and it (the vegetarian grinder) was delicious and huge (enough for leftovers). They aren’t opened on Sunday and close early on Saturday I think around 2 or 3pm. They also serve breakfast and the desserts are yummy. I highly recommend the Reese’s peanut butter cup cake and the triple chocolate cake. If you want more information here are their phone and fax numbers: phone-843-664-8888 and fax-843-664-3333.

It is dangerously wonderful (dangerous for my wallet, of course!) You can’t go if you are in a hurry because there are just too many things to look at and lust after!

I really want the Alice tea set but have nowhere to put it, plus I can’t bring myself to spend that much money on something that probably won’t get used. Ha!

The construction on the IGA on Ebenzer is about to get cranked up and I just had a file laid on my desk that Big Lots is going into old Wal-Mart building on David McLeod. Not sure the store is just moving across town or opening a 2nd location. Will let you know as I hear.

There is a KJ’s Market (IGA) that is definitely going up at the corner of Ebeneezer and Pine Needles. Should be starting soon.
