We’re having a huge three family yard sale Saturday, July 25 from 6 am to 3pm at 2439 Buckshot Road, Florence – just off Alligator Rd, one mile past Forest Lake Greenhouses. Rain or Shine!

Aroma Underground is going to have a really great concert on August 13th at 8:00 PM by The Hellblinki Sextet. Everyone should consider checking them out. Admission is free!

you may want to add SHE Weekend at the Civic Center for September 20 and Merry Marketplace there also for the 1st weekend in October

Florence Library will host Children’s Fall Festival on Saturday Sept 19, from 12 noon to 4:00 pm.

Guitarist Kevin Smith and his band,The Seven,will be performing lush, guitar-driven rock at Timrod Park on Sunday, September 6th at 3:00. Sponsored by the Florence Regional Arts Alliance, Honda of South Carolina and the Florence Parks and Recreation Dept.

ScienceSouth will hold Science Saturday on Sept 5, and Mad Scientist Sciencepalooza on Oct 3. The sign up fee for both activities are $15.00

Lyches River Park will have “Let’s play Field day” on Sept 5 at 1:00-3:00 pm.

Thanks for the calendar shout out for Don’t Cry for Me, Margaret Mitchell at the FLT beginning this weekend. For tickets, call 662-3731. Can you show some love and also post as an event when you update your weekend to-dos. This is one great show with a great cast that will take you to another time and a better happier mood. Can we add the next $100 Portrait Project on March 16th at William E. Campbell and Associates? We will be there from 5-7. $100 session and you get a full resolution digital image of the best one we create from your session. 50% will go to the Children’s Miracle Network. In the past year (our first year) we have raised $5000 for the CMN! Thanks.

Event at the Florence Museum on March 28th 3:00 to 4:30pm

The Florence Museum, in conjunction with The Friends of the Florence Museum, will be hosting the “Jane Knows!” lecture and tour series. This series is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your Museum and of course, to know what “Jane Knows!”

Sunday afternoon tea lectures will be accompanied by light fare such as tea sandwiches, fruit, muffins, and a variety of other sweets and savories. The first tea is set for Sunday, March 28th from 3:00 to 4:30pm. Subsequent teas will follow throughout the year.

Tickets are $15 each. Limited seating is available for this event. Call the Museum at 843-662-3351 to reserve a space for yourself or a group of friends.
